Abstract
The world today has about 30 cities with a population of about 10 million or more residents. These megacities are larger in size than many countries. They act as magnets to people from rural areas in search of jobs and employment that pay better wages than they can command in farming and remote areas. Today, the world for the first time is more urban than rural.
A city is defined by its sense of community.
