Neuroscience in the 21st Century

Abstract

The history of ADHD in the twenty-first century was summarized using 5 topics (diagnosis, epidemiology, treatment, prognosis, and pathophysiology). Brief reviews were provided for changes in the official criteria, stability of worldwide prevalence, increases in pharmacological treatment, persistence into adulthood, and biological bases of ADHD.
