Abstract
Patients frequently bring forth concerns about disorders of menstruation to primary care providers. These disorders are complex and often have many plausible etiologies. A sound knowledge of anatomy and physiology is necessary to definitively diagnose and manage these conditions. This chapter will outline the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of some of the most common menstrual disorders which are frequently addressed by family physicians.
