Abstract
A database layout is a developer-designed graphical template that transforms the raw data stored in fields, records, and tables into an interface: an interactive visual presentation. Layouts provide users and scripts with access to record data from the perspective of a specific table occurrence, which is called a context. A database file’s layouts are limited only by disk space, up to the maximum overall file size of 8 terabytes.
