Pediatric Head and Neck Tumors

Abstract

Odontogenic tumors of the jaw can originate from odontogenic epithelium, odontogenic mesenchyme or from both the cell lines. These are benign bone tumors. The biology, epidemiology, presentation, diagnosis and evaluation, treatment, and outcomes of odontogenic tumors are presented in this chapter. This chapter can be used as a guide for clinicians treating patients who present with odontogenic tumors.
