Abstract
General surgeons commonly treat head and neck endocrine disorders. The board exam is highly selective in the topics that are covered in an attempt to stump the examinee. This chapter develops clear and up-to-date guidelines for the surgical evaluation and treatment of neck masses, thyroid, and parathyroid surgical pathology.
