Endovascular Interventions

Abstract

Endovascular repair of thoracic aortic aneurysm (TEVAR) has become a common alternative to open repair. Hybrid repair was developed as an alternative to open surgical repair in patients without proximal or distal landing zones who are unfit to undergo open repair. This chapter will describe the hybrid techniques of debranching the aortic arch vessels and visceral vessels with subsequent placement of an endograft for repair of a thoracoabdominal aneurysm.
