Abstract
Nonverbal learning disability (NVLD) captures the profile of children who struggle with the perception, mental spatial manipulation, and reasoning of visual information. Additional symptoms have included deficits with tactile perception, sensory integration, and psychomotor skills. Such processing challenges have been associated with social–emotional difficulties, and problems with math calculation/reasoning, reading comprehension, and written expression, as examples.
