Abstract

We present an overview over the genesis and the contents of the book. The chapters are revised and extended versions of selected papers presented at the POEM 2012 conference “A Mathematics Education Perspective on early Mathematics Learning between the Poles of Instruction and Construction” in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
