Abstract

The evaluation of the quality of life of patients with wounds is essential for a quality assistance. Therefore, the adaptation and validation of a quality of life instrument guides actions of health professionals. In this context, the adaptation of the Freiburg Life Quality Assessment-Wound instrument for the Portuguese language of Brazil, following the methodology recommended by the literature, resulted in a valid and reliable instrument to evaluate the quality-of-life construct in patients with chronic wounds.
