Abstract

The MEWA ion source and different its modification are investigated in ITEP for a long time. The last results obtained in the experiments with e-MEWA and MEWA-M (MEWA with two anodes) ion sources are presented. As well, the common MEWA is used as injector for RFQ linac providing experiments with plasma target. The results of copper ion beam acceleration are presented.
