Abstract

In the current state of art for eGovernment solutions, there are several proposals that address the provision of services for citizens. This paper presents a citizen centered approach that takes advantage of current semantic technologies available. This approach is implemented in the so-called PLEDGE (Platform for LifeEvent Development in eGovernment Environments) project. In the frame of the former, the provision of an interoperable support for services from different public administrations is tackled. Semantic-based mechanism for the discovery, orchestration and composition of services from independent public administrations is described. To make that possible, it was required to make use of several semantic technologies. At last, some conclusions are presented.
