Abstract
Adductor tendonitis is pain at the medial groin secondary to injury to the adductor muscle group or its insertional site. It is believed to be caused by inflammation and collagen dysfunction due to microtrauma during activities that require bursts of speed or quick directional changes. The most common exam findings include pain with resisted abduction of the lower extremity. Most common treatment options include relative rest, ice, NSAIDS, and physical therapy.
