Abstract
This is a broad survey of recent academic research on Japan’s economy, mostly published in the last ten years, all of it in English. The research described here spans many fields of economics. The article is intended as a bibliographic aid for economics scholars and students who want to explore the many creative ways that economics is being applied to the study of Japan.
