Nierentransplantation: Chronische Transplantatschädigung

Zusammenfassung

Die chronische Transplantatschädigung ist gekennzeichnet durch eine progrediente renale Narbenbildung, die sich klinisch im fortgeschrittenem Stadium durch eine Reduktion der Transplantatnierenfunktions sowie das Auftreten einer Proteinurie äußert. Ursächlich sind verschiedene immunologische und nichtimmunologische Schädigungsmechanismen. Die Therapie der chronischen Transplantatschädigung beruht auf der Behandlung dieser zugrunde liegenden Schädigungsmechanismen sowie der Kontrolle anderer renaler Risikofaktoren.
