Molecular Genetics and Genomics
Description
The First Journal on Genetics - Founded in 1908 Molecular Genetics and Genomics covers all areas of genetics and genomics and encompasses experimental and theoretical approaches in all organisms. Research published here will be of general interest for biologists. Molecular Genetics and Genomics also publishes invited review articles of wide interest. The journal investigates a broad range of topics, including these from recent issues: mechanisms for extending longevity in a variety of organisms; screening of yeast metal homeostasis genes involved in mitochondrial functions; molecular mapping of cultivar-specific avirulence genes in the rice blast fungus and more. Chief Editor of Molecular Genetics and Genomics is Stefan Hohmann, Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, Göteborg University, Sweden.
