The Award: The best poster presented by a young scientist in sessions whose scientific area is covered by the journal.
The Prize: The winner will receive free online access to the journal for 12 months and a book of choice worth EUR 150,00 on the Springer.com platform.
A young scientist is 35 years old or younger scientist presenting the poster as a junior author at the Centennial Celebration and Congress of the International Union of Soil Sciences.

The Chairmen of each of the above mentioned sessions will nominate the best poster of the specific session presented by a young scientist. Then a 4 members committee nominated by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal and the Organiser of Congress will choose the best poster among the overall nominations
Judging criteria
1) Content (relevant, original, up to date, etc.)
2) Experimental plan and techniques (controls, replicates, the accuracy of the used techniques, etc.)
3) Presentation (design, clarity, etc.)
The weighting of criteria:
1) 50%
2) 25%
