Prof. Ronald K. Hanson will be awarded the Julius Springer Prize 2023 which will take place at CLEO Europe during the EQEC Plenary Talk and Award Ceremony which was on June 27, 2023, Neue Messe München, ICM, Munich, Germany.

We are pleased to announce that Dr Jacob Mackenzie has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of Applied Physics B. His tenure begins in January 2021, taking over from Dr Dieter Meschede who steps down in December after 8 years in the role.
Publishing essential research results in one of the most important areas of applied physics, Applied Physics B: Laser and Optics places among the most cited journals in its field.
