Chromatographia
Description
In recent years the scope and power of chromatography has been extended by its combination with spectroscopic methods, in particular mass spectrometry and NMR spectroscopy to develop more powerful, so-called hyphenated techniques. Rapid progress in analytical tools places ever-increasing demands on the analyst to keep current with new techniques and developments. Chromatographia has offered cutting-edge reporting on progress in its field since its founding in 1968. The journal has itself evolved to meet the challenges of changing times and demands: approximately 55% of papers published are on liquid chromatography, 25% on gas chromatography, 10% on electrophoresis and 10% on such other topics as TLC, sample preparation and review articles. The composition of the Editorial Board is reviewed at regular intervals, and publishing policy, including the number of papers and the format, are subject to continuous appraisal.
