Journal of Geographical Systems, a journal dedicated to geographical information, analysis, theory, and decision making, aims to encourage and promote high quality scholarship on important theoretical and practical issues in regional science, geography, the environmental sciences, and planning. One of the distinctive features of the journal is its concern for the interface between mathematical modeling, geographical information sciences, and regional issues. The journal encourages interdisciplinary communication and research, especially on the themes of spatial analysis, spatial theory and spatial decision systems.
