Abstract
The sizes of mosaic blocks were calculated for a representative batch of artificial graphite samples based on isotropic and textured cokes and also natural flake graphite. The predominance of contact electrical resistance in the integrated resistance of artificial graphite was used for the calculation. The calculated sizes of the mosaic blocks are consistent with published data on the sizes determined by standard methods based on transport phenomena and with the use of microscopy.
