Abstract

We calculate Shannon entropy for Modified Hulthen potential (MHP). Dependence of Shannon entropy on various parameters of the potential is investigated. For solving Schrodinger equation, i.e., for calculation of the wavefunctions, Numerov method has been employed which is fast and efficient. Numerical simulation is performed for the purpose. Novel data for Shannon entropy is presented for a wide range of the parameters of MHP.
