Abstract

By means of recently presented two typical measures of non-Markovianity, we study the non-Markovian dynamics of a qubit system coupled to a single qubit environment. Special attention is paid to the problem of environmental coherence on the effect of non-Markovianity of system dynamics and on the effect of entanglement evolution. We also study the relation between non-Markovianity and system-environment correlations and the time evolution of coherence of the environment itself.
