Ennealophus tucumanensis (Tigridieae: Iridaceae), a new species from Argentina

Summary

A new species of Ennealophus of the tribe Tigridieae (E. tucumanensis Huaylla) from the southern Andean region of South America is described and illustrated. This species is recognised by its inner tepals being oblong with rounded margins and coloured blue with a darker blue spot at the base of the tepals, and style branches centrally sinuate with lateral ridges.
