Results are presented for an experimental study of the effect of screw rolling of solid billets on mechanical properties and macrostructure of T grade wheel steel. It is shown that piercing of continuous billets with a drawing factor λ = 1.6 makes it possible to work a cast structure, improve ductility properties, and impact load resistance.
