Abstract

This report describes the case of a previously healthy patient who presented with cholestatic jaundice. Sigmoid diverticulitis and pylephlebitis were diagnosed by computed tomography and ultrasonography. A review of the disease process with emphasis of the imaging diagnosis is provided.
