Abstract
The subject of draught-free climate comfort in vehicles is still an important issue for automobile manufacturers and their suppliers. However, the cost pressure is increasing and the space available for installation is becoming ever smaller. Moreover, there is a need to reduce the complexity of such ventilation concepts, to be able to offer comfort versions on the basis of platform concepts more flexibly and cost-efficiently. In a joint advance development project, Audi and the automotive supplier Faurecia have developed and tested a new ventilation concept to realise draught-free comfort ventilation during summer month via a defrost outlet.
