Blood glucose determination by dextrostix/reflectance meter system

  • Published:
Irish Journal of Medical Science Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

A STUDY of the use of enzyme test strips with a reflectance meter (DRM system) to measure blood glucose is described. A comparison is made between the results obtained using the DRM system and the autoanalyzer ferricyanide method. Reproducibility of the DRM system results is assessed and the accuracy and value of the system is discussed.
