Résumé
Présentation d'un cas d'ostéomyélite de l'extrémité inférieure du cubitus chez un homme de 71 ans, dûe à Yersinia enterocolitica et survenue au cours du traitement par chimiothérapie d'un cancer du poumon. Cette observation est tout à fait particulière parce que l'ostéomyélite s'est localisée au niveau d'une ancienne fracture traitée par ostéosynthèse 48 ans auparavant. A notre connaissance il s'agit du premier cas publié d'ostéomyélite à Yersinia enterocolitica chez un patient soumis à un traitement immuno-suppresseur.
Abstract
We have reported a case of a 71-year-old male who developed osteomyelitis of his distal ulna due to Y. enterocolitica during chemotherapy for an oat-cell carcinoma. This case was remarkable because the osteomyelitis developed where 48 years earlier an osteosynthesis had been performed. To our knowledge this is the first case of a Yersinia osteomyelitis in a patient receiving immunosuppressive therapy, reported in the literature.
