Abstract
The NATO/CCMS/NACC study was an international collaboration between 23 countries. The scope of the study was limited to cross-border radioactive contamination of defence-related origin. The main outcome of the study is a 300 page report on the radioactive contamination in the Arctic Seas, the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea. The present presentation will, however, be limited to a discussion of the situation in the Arctic Seas.
