Abstract
Cerebral amyloid angiopathy is a disease characterized by the deposition of β-amyloid in small and medium size arteries of the cerebral cortex and leptomeninges leading to microaneurysm formation and subsequent bleeding. Cerebral amyloid angiopathy is closely associated with Alzheimer’s disease which is well detected on PET/MR imaging.
