Graduate attributes, or university learning goals, are generic outcomes that all graduates are supposed to have learned as a result of their education. Such attributes include lifelong learning, creativity, critical thinking, professional knowledge and skills, intellectual autonomy, and independent problem solving as appropriate to a student’s area of specialization. When designing program and course ILOs, these attributes may be addressed as appropriate to the program and to the course in question.
