Abstract

In many aging cities, and disproportionately in New Orleans, children are poisoned by lead in soils. Operation: Paydirt joins art and science for a city-wide initiative to rebuild New Orleans from below the ground up. The proposed strategic infrastructure engages agencies and citizens to make safe landscapes, returning health to their communities.
