Abstract
The successful management of change is often asserted to be dependent on the alignment of values (Hall, 1994: Hofstede, 1991 and Hofstede, 1994). The delivery and facilitation of this process by identifying values and integrating the combining cultures is frequently outsourced as it requires skills, an outside perspective and resources rarely kept in-house, even in larger companies. This paper describes the design and development of a holistic methodology providing a flexible but structured toolkit to facilitate learning and manage business processes after global mergers and acquisitions (M&As). The methodology was developed during the course of research undertaken for an Organisational Development (OD) consultancy.
