Abstract
The ear, nose, and throat, together classically abbreviated as ENT before adoption of the more scholarly word otorhinolaryngology, are a cluster of structures geographically proximal to one another and, more or less, functionally connected in regard to breathing, swallowing, phonation, and hearing. In considering how to present my collection of ENT facts and pearls, I have chosen to order them as they are traditionally mentioned: ear first, then nose, and then throat (including the lips, tongue, teeth, and other oropharyngeal structures).
