The Academic Psychiatry journal is taking a critical look at the future of psychiatric residency training and invites its readers and leaders in psychiatry to join in this journey by submitting new manuscripts to help answer questions such as:
Are we meeting our patient population needs?
What can residency training do about meeting patients’ needs?
How does psychiatry training adapt to innovations now and in the future?
Are major changes required for psychiatry residency training?
What skill sets are required in general residency training to treat underserved populations?
