IQSA 2024

The Sixteenth Biennial IQSA Conference Quantum Structures 2024 (IQSA 2024) brings together researchers that apply or advance quantum structures in physics and other areas. The general aim is providing a deeper understanding about quantum phenomena. This includes studying quantum foundational approaches, formal applications of quantum structures to physics, mathematics and philosophy as well as interdisciplinary applications of quantum structures. Methods include analytic philosophy and logic, pure mathematics, mathematical physics, probability theory, algorithms and computation, and others. Typical areas of application include technology-driven areas quantum communication and quantum computation, basic areas such as such as quantum information, quantum measurements, quantum thermodynamics, and also foundational issues of quantum theory such as causality, entanglement, superposition, etc. This special issue collects selected works presented at IQSA 2024.
