Special Issue on the 25th Anniversary of Astrophysics Division of Korean Physical Society
In 2020, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of astrophysics division of Korean Physical Society. This special issue was published with the intention to leave our legacy for the past 25 years and also to have prospects for the coming years. Especially for the first purpose, it contains a very special article which wrote about the establishment story of the astrophysics division, which has been rapidly growing since its establishment in 1995. The other 14 articles cover various research topics which are being actively studied by members in the astrophysics division. The editors of this special issue were steering committee members of the astrophysics division when the issue was determined to be published. We feel really honored to serve as editors and hope that readers enjoy to read all the articles in this special issue.
