Dr. Qiangling Duan
is working as an associate professor at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) since May 2018. He got his PhD degree of Safety Science and Engineering in 2016. Then he was employed as a post-doctoral fellow at USTC from June 2016 to April 2018. In the past 10 years, Dr. Duan has been devoted to the researches on hydrogen gas fire and explosion, lithium-ion battery fire dynamics and prevention. He has led two projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one sub-project supported by the National Key Research and Development Plan. Dr. Duan has authored more than 110 research papers indexed by SCI.

Dr. Yaqing Li
is associate professor at Xi’an University of Science and Technology, China. Her research interests encompass various aspects of prevention and control of fire disasters, and development of fire-fighting materials, with a focus on the applications of new techniques in control and prevention of hazards. She has contributed extensively to academia through the presiding 2 projects of the National Natural Science and 2 Natural Science Foundation projects of Shaanxi Province, publications of over 60 peer-reviewed academic papers and authorization of over 10 national patents and 4 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards.

Dr. Ahmed MEBARKI
is currently full Professor in Civil Engineering at University Gustave Eiffel (France). He graduated as Civil Engineer from National Polytechnic School in Algiers (Algeria). He acted as Chief Engineer for maritime works and harbor engineering. He moved to University Paul Sabatier and National Institute of Applied Sciences where he obtained a first PhD in civil engineering and prepared. In 1995, he became full professor in Civil Engineering at University Paris-Est where he headed several academic/research components. His research studies focus on “Integrated methodologies for natural and industrial risks".

Dr. Huang Li
is working as an associate professor at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) since March 2023. He got his PhD degree of Safety Science and Engineering in 2020. Dr. Li has been devoted to the researches on lithium-ion battery fires and its prevention technologies. He has led two projects supported by China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, one sub-project supported by the National Key Research and Development Plan and one Provincial Science and Technology Major Project. Dr. Li has authored more than 10 research papers indexed by SCI. He has received the first prize of the Public Safety Science and Technology Award.
