Special Issue: New Trends in Large Scale Optimization
Daniela di Serafino (8 April 1966 - 22 August 2022) was a passionate and highly respected researcher in the optimization and linear algebra communities who died far too early. A special issue of Computational Optimization and Applications will be dedicated to her memory, and the research areas that she championed. The editors welcome high quality submissions during the submission window September 1, 2023 to February 29, 2024. Choose “di Serafino Memorial Issue” during the submission process. Submission topics include but are not limited to:
• smooth and non-smooth optimization;
• linear algebra for large scale optimization;
• optimization methods for machine learning and data-science;
• optimization methods for image processing.
