Abstract
In this chapter we present two case studies on restoring disturbed rangelands. Our aim is to demonstrate how ranchers applied our five-step procedure, and its underlying principles, to repair arid and semiarid rangelands, respectively. Rangelands are nonarable areas used primarily, but not exclusively, for grazing livestock, such as cattle, goats, and sheep, and they cover about one-half of the earth’s land surface.
