Abstract

With the financial support of Tin Ka Ping Foundation, the adapted Tier 1 Program of the Project P.A.T.H.S. was implemented in four secondary schools in Shanghai, Suzhou, Yangzhou, and Changzhou of China. Evaluation findings based on different strategies are described in this chapter. First, subjective outcome evaluation based on the participants showed that the stakeholders had positive evaluation of the program and its effectiveness. Second, similar subjective outcome evaluation findings were revealed for the implementers. Third, process evaluation showed that the quality of program implementation was high, with the students actively involved and engaged in the process. Fourth, interim evaluation showed that the program was well received by the students and teachers. Overall speaking, evaluation findings demonstrated the effectiveness of the adapted program in its first year of implementation.

The preparation for this chapter and the Tin Ka Ping East China Project P.A.T.H.S. were financially supported by Tin Ka Ping Foundation. Address all correspondence to Daniel T. L.
