Abstract
Aiming to investigate the influence of the burst requests and the likelihood of impatience possibility on a dynamic spectrum allocation strategy in Cognitive Radio Networks (CRNs), we establish a batch arrival queueing model with possible reneging and potential transmission interruption. We derive the stead-state distribution of the queueing length to analyze the stochastic behavior of the system. Accordingly, we give some important performance measures and numerical results to show the change trends of the performance measures with respect to different batch arrival rates and different impatience parameters.
