Abstract

This chapter describes a small-scale project to enhance democratic participation for inclusion around a case study of an infant’s school in South East England. While there seems to be a general consent that participation is a prerequisite for inclusion, and that school leaders in particular have a responsibility for creating the conditions for inclusion, less is known about how this can be achieved.
