Abstract
A Copernican revolution is taking place in phenomenology, one which will, I believe, enable it to inquire in a more effective and appropriate way into certain aspects of reality which, though they are among the most fundamental, have been left in something like a shadow zone by Husserlian orthodoxy. The work of Anna-Teresa Tymieniecka strikes me as very important in this connection. I obtained particular stimulus from reading her latest book The Three Movements of the Soul.
