Abstract
In this chapter the three fundamental logical operations are reviewed, i.e.. the AND, OR, and NOT. The AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR and XOR gates are explained together with their functional implementation. Additionally the chapter presents few combinational digital systems, like a full adder and the seven-segment display and provides examples of designing combinational logic circuits and the way of evaluating logic circuit outputs.
