Abstract
Athletes rarely complain of signs or symptoms suggestive of vascular disease; it may therefore be undiagnosed for a long time, with severe consequences for the competitors [1]. Vascular diseases should be considered when athletes experience symptoms that cannot be related to musculoskeletal injuries.
