Abstract
There are various types of breast implants that can be categorized according to the characteristics of the material or the indications. They are developed to achieve the maximum benefit in terms of safety, functions and aesthetic appearance. Meta-analysis and controlled studies are still needed for many types of implants to confirm their safety and clinical outcomes. Moreover, manufactures should be bound by the same law and standards to control the quality of the product.
