Riassunto

Le patologie vascolari degli arti superiori sono costituite principalmente dalle sindromi steno-occlusive e si differenziano a seconda del calibro del vaso interessato: grande, medio o piccolo. Le patologie occlusive delle arterie di grande calibro sono dovute soprattutto a fenomeni aterosclerotici o trombotici. Le alterazioni funzionali sono correlate alla sindrome dell’egresso toracico. Le arterie di medio e piccolo calibro sono, invece, tipicamente coinvolte in patologie infiammatorie autoimmuni (arteriti) o dalla malattia di Raynaud.
