Le discipline RC, AP e IL bipartiscono l’argomento sindrome prefrontale in forme di contenuto rilievo clinico (RC-AP: forme lievi; IL: forme non gravi) e forme di significativo rilievo clinico (RC-AP: forme medio/gravi; IL: forme severe o gravi). A fine classificativo, l’attribuzione di una determinata sindrome prefrontale a una delle due categorie dipende dall’entità della compromissione delle singole funzioni esecutive, dal numero di funzioni esecutive effettivamente compromesse e dall’eventuale sinergia invalidante dei deficit contemporaneamente vigenti.
